WINDTHORST – Bryson’s volleyball team came into the Oct. 6 District 9-2A matchup with the host Trojanettes on a bit of a high, going 4-1 to start league play.

BRYSON – In a flat performance throughout, the host Cowgirl volleyball team never would gain ground on visiting Petrolia but never let them pull away either in a 26-24, 25-22, 25-20 win for the visitors Saturday afternoon.
With the tough non-district schedule Jacksboro Head Coach Brannon Rodgers put together, including three Homecoming dates, it’s not a surprise some folks had the Tigers finishing below .500 heading into District 5-3A Division II play next week.
OLNEY – JMS’ girls cross country team had a great meet here Saturday, winning the overall title.
