Louie Carrol Redding

Louie Carroll Redding, 85, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2020 in Wichita Falls.

Redding was born April 9, 1935 in Hubbard, Texas to Louie Pruitt and Letha Mae (Lambert) Redding. He married Betty Hummel in Weatherford on Nov. 24, 1967 and would build a life together and make many friends for the next 50 years. Betty preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2017.

Throughout his life, Louis was a truck driver, a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Jacksboro and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hurst. He will truly be missed by many.

Audie Marie White

Audie Marie (Riley) White, 75, passed away on Monday, Aug. 24 in Plano.

A visitation was held on Friday, Aug. 28 at Coker Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at Coker Funeral Home with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery.

Audie was born March 13, 1945 in Jacksboro to Luther Lem and Lema Audie (Spann)

Riley. She married Norman Lee White on Sept. 27, 1961 and were married until his passing on April 15, 2003. Audie was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bedford/Euless. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Dawson Pate Doyle

Dawson Pate Doyle, 83 of Nocona, passed peacefully from this life Aug. 27, 2020 after a struggle with Leukemia (AML). Dawson was born Dec. 2, 1936 in Belcherville, Texas to William Ray (W.R.) and Daisy Dell (Price) Doyle. Dawson grew up in the Nocona area until adulthood, excluding short trips west to Odell, Tx. to pick cotton.

Nancy Ann Oliver

On Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, Nancy Ann Oliver went to be with the Lord at the age of 86.

Nancy was born on August 17, 1933 in Goree, Texas, to Lattie and Ola Mae (Wood) Roberts. Her parents passed when Nancy was four years old. After her parents passed she was raised by Ola Mae’s sister, Noma, and Marvin Marley in Jack County. At the age of twelve, Nancy accepted Christ and was baptized in a stock tank near Mountain Home Baptist Church.

Homer D. Grooms

Homer D. Grooms, 84, passed away Aug. 5, 2020 in Jacksboro surrounded by his family.

A Visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 8 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Coker Funeral Home. A Graveside

Service was held on Sunday, Aug. 9 at Lynn Creek Cemetery.

Homer was born on Oct. 5, 1935 in Dumas to Homer C. Grooms and Katherine McDowell Grooms. After graduating college, Homer proudly served his country in the Navy and fought in the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Colleen Wolfe Grooms on June 13, 1959. Homer was also a member of Jermyn Baptist Church.
