Frances Louise (Hardeman) Ray was born on Sept. 2, 1941 in Jacksboro to Claude Green and Ruby Johnson Hardeman. She was adopted at 18 months of age by Alonso Hardeman. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 15 in Fort Worth.

A Visitation will be held at Coker Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 12pm to 1:30pm. A Graveside Service will follow at 2pm at Oakwood Cemetery.

Frances married Rufus Ray on August 8, 1960 here in Jacksboro. She loved taking care of her family and numerous friends. Frances will be truly missed by all.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus; parents, Ruby and; son, Ken Ray; brother, Joel Hardeman Sr.; and granddaughter, Kendra Ray.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include, children Regina Ray of Fort Worth, Lee Ray and wife Cheryl of Aledo; siblings, Kathy Garner, Claude Green, Dana Green, Onita Henderson, Dionne Collins; grandchildren, Ayasha, Colby, Kelby, Nik and wife Allison, AJ and wife Maddie, Ashlee; great grandchildren, Jacolby, Zaniah, and Aurelia.
