Mary Alice (Bryson) King went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 23. She was 87. A graveside service was held Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Cottonwood Cemetery in Bryson. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Antonio “Tony” Martinez was born June 13, 1950 in San Juan Durango, Mexico, to Patrocinia Martinez and Carlos Espinoza. He and Maryann married on Feb. 5, 1977 in Altus, Okla.. Tony was a welder for 51 years and was employed with Martco-MFG in Jacksboro.
John M. Balli, 92, went to rest until the coming of the Lord on November 18, 2020, in Jacksboro.
Tom W Carpenter Jr., born March 4, 1926 in Iowa Park to Tom W. Carpenter Sr. and Effie Virginia (Gardner). Carpenter passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 in Decatur.
He spent His early life in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School in 1943. Tom attended Texas A&M before entering the military service in the U.S. Army in 1944. He attended
Infantry Officers Candidate School, The Parachute School and Army Aviation Flight School before being released from service with the 82nd Airborne Division in 1946.
Gloria LaRue Fowler Bloodworth was born July 21,1939 in Grand Saline, Texas to Roy W. and Jerry Lou (Stewart) Casey. She married Dan Edgar Fowler December 17,1955 in Fort Worth. He preceded her death on October 27, 1996. Two years later, she married Clyde Dale Bloodworth June 26,1998 in Jacksboro. He preceded her in death as well, May 30, 2018.
John Earnest Guice, 83, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Friday, Nov. 6.
Janice Raye (Turner) Conner, 81, passed away Nov. 1, 2020 in Jacksboro. She was born on March 11, 1939 to Ollie Ray and Lora Lee Turner in Jack County.
Audie Erwin was born Aug. 14, 1934 in the small Texas community of Barton Chapel to Cecil and Lola (Nash) Jennings. She passed away Sunday, October 17 in Jacksboro at the age of 86.
Jerry Douglas Dickson was born on Jan. 3, 1940 to Douglas and Willie Mae Dickson in Decatur.
Jerry married Stephanie Stine on June 3, 1978. Jerry was called home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2020 at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano.
