Linda S. (Roberts) Stalcup

Linda S. (Roberts) Stalcup passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at her home in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 73. Born in Jacksboro, Texas, she was a 1964 graduate of JHS and a longtime employee of the State of Texas, Department of Health and Human Services. In 1986 she married Royce Stalcup in Waxahachie, Texas. They enjoyed dividing their time between homes in Jacksboro and Fort Worth. Linda and Royce shared a love of antiques, and together they owned and operated All About Antiques, a store in downtown Jacksboro.

Steve Diden

Steve Diden was born June 24, 1948 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Jacksboro, Texas at the age of 71 years old. 

He was the son of David and Naomi Sally (George) Diden. Steve married Sharon Murphey May 24, 1969 in Silsbee, Texas, they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. He worked as an Area Foreman for Arco Pipeline. Steve proudly served our nation in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jacksboro, Texas.

Lewis Alphonso James

Lewis Alphonso James, 79, went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 16, 2019 surrounded by his family.

There was a Memorial Service at 10:00am on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Christian Missions Church, Jacksboro, Texas.

Lewis was born on October 25, 1939 in Jacksboro to Preston Lawton James and Edna Eugene (Stanley) James. He married Carolyn Ann Potts on June 13, 1992.

Sallie Sue Sikes Scheer

Sallie Sue Sikes Scheer was born January 13, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Samuel Tillotson Sikes, Jr. and Amelia Christine (Edgecombe) Sikes. She passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at the age of 75 years. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Henrietta at 301 S. Bridge St. in Henrietta, Texas with Chris Scheer and Deborah Clark officiating.

 

Regis Raymond Alder, Jr.

Regis Raymond Alder, Jr. passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019. He was born the son of Regis and Agnes Harriet Keyho Alder, Sr. on November 12, 1965, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Reggie was a mechanic and was a firefighter/EMT for Santo Fire Department for 17 years. He was an avid BBQ cook going to cookoffs and previously owned Chubby’s BBQ. Regis will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
