Thomas Henry Frie was born in Jack County, Texas on April 30, 1927 to Henry Gibson and Mildred Oleta (Bolton) Frie. He and the late Margaret Loraine Ainsworth married October 22,1951 in Graham. Thomas proudly served our country in both the United States Navy and later Air Force.

 After his service, Thomas worked for Hexcel Corporation for 24 1/2 years as a Line Foreman. There he would help produce the heating coils that would be used to insulate NASA Space Shuttles. Thomas passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 in Jacksboro, Texas at the age of 92 years old. 

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; a son, Allen Henry Frie; brothers, Hubert Milton Frie; Cubert Melton Frie; Charles Allen Frie; John Leslie Frie; Marion Lee Frie; James William Frie and sister, Mildred Elizabeth Bolin.

 He is survived today by his granddaughter, Fallyn Sahadat and husband, Zahir; great grandson, Kadar Sahadat; great nephew, Robert Frie and wife Tonja; great great nieces, Whitney Mass and husband Colten; Hailee Frie, great great nephew, Cody Frie; great great great nephew, Gatlin Mass; half sister, Joyce Lowery and several other nieces, nephews and extended family members.
