Tommy H. Smith, 70, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019. He was born on Dec. 31, 1948 in Weatherford to Don and Ann Smith.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Jeanne Smith; daughters DeeAnn Hudson and husband Chris, Candice Graves and partner Brad, and Stacy Finn and husband Cody, along with six grandchildren. He was also survived by mother Ann Smith, brother Craig Smith and wife Nancy, sister, Sue Smith Schechter, as well as nieces and nephews.

Tommy was a 1967 graduate of Jacksboro High School. He attended TCU and McMurry College on football scholarships and then on to UNT. He had a 36-year career at Texaco and during that time was honored to run with the Olympic Torch through Dallas in 1996.

Tommy’s private funeral was held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Kennedale.
