Jimmy Ray Kinder

Jimmy Ray Kinder, 84, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019 at his home in Jacksboro.

Visitation was held Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Memorial Christian Church of Jacksboro. Funeral services was also held Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. with burial following at Barton Chapel Cemetery.

Jimmy was born on Feb. 7, 1935 to William Hoy Kinder and Lucille Rhodes Kinder in Jack County. He married the love of his life Gayla McCoy in Mineral Wells and was married for over 60 years. He was a member of the Memorial Christian Church and the Registered Angus Association. Jimmy loved ranching but most of all loved spending time with his family.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bill and Bob Kinder.

He is survived today by his wife Gayla of Jacksboro, his two children and their families: Lorrie Mitchell and husband Monty of Jacksboro and Kent Kinder of Jacksboro; 4 grandchildren, Kayl Mitchell, Kendra Mitchell, Abbie Kinder and Collin Kinder; 2 great- grandchildren, Hendrix Mitchell and Kayden Mitchell and a sister, Beth Marlow of Tolar.
