Ronald Crowley

Ronald “Ronnie” Crowley was born Sept. 1, 1952 in Jacksboro, to Raymond Edward Crowley and Shirley Christine (Bodey) Crowley. He passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, in Wichita Falls. He was 69 years old.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at Christian Missions in Jacksboro. Burial followed at Lynn Creek Cemetery.

James Wayne Vick

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro.

James Wayne Vick was born June 27, 1951 in Ranger, to Archie Loyd and Winona Mae (Reatherford) Vick. He married Linda Jeffrey Jan. 19, 1968 in Jacksboro. James worked several jobs, from roofing to oilfield until he retired. It was said he was, “Jack of all trades, master of none.” James passed away Friday, Nov. 5, in Mineral Wells. He was 70 years old.

Joyce Ann Guthrie

Joyce Ann Guthrie passed away at her home in Jacksboro Friday, Oct. 22. She was born Dec. 23, 1946, also in Jacksboro, to Wright and Lillian (Montgomery) Strickland.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Christian Missions in Jacksboro. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 10 a.m., with burial at Lynn Creek Cemetery.

Joyce married Nelson Guthrie on Feb. 19, 1969 in Graham. Throughout her life, Joyce was a geriatric nurse at the nursing homes in Mineral Wells, Graham and Jacksboro.

Linda Sue Damron

Linda Sue Damron passed away Sunday, Oct. 3 in Paradise, at the age of 65 years old. She was born Aug. 28,1956 in Bowie, to Joe and Barbara (Horn) Glass.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8 at Coker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; husband Danny Damron; and grandchildren C.J. Phelps and Alyssa Phelps.

Teresa Gail Boner

Teresa Gail Boner, 66, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, in Decatur. She was born Aug. 17, 1955 in Grapevine, to Tommy Newton Boner and Bobbie Lou (Sweatnam).

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at the Wizard Wells Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Wizard Wells Cemetery.

Teresa was a member of Wizard Wells Baptist Church. She loved to visit with friends and family and hold all the babies. She never met a stranger and would remember you from the first time she seen you.  

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents and brother Timothy Boner.
