Cecil Dudley Sparkman

Cecil Dudley Sparkman, 81, of Post Oak, died on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.

Memorial Services were 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Henrietta with Rev. Dan Sparkman, Rev. Keith Laude and B.D Wynn officiating. Cecil will be laid to rest at Post Oak Cemetery in Post Oak.

Dennis “Pete” Peterson, 74, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on January 13, 2021 in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. on Monday Jan. 18 in Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro. Open viewing was all day Sunday Jan. 17 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.

Edna Ruth Hickey Allison was born on September 11, 1936 to Yvonne Hickey. Although she attended school in various locations, Edna received her diploma from Atlanta Rural High School in Atlanta, Kansas where she graduated as the valedictorian of her class in 1954. After high school, Edna gained employment at a law firm in Amarillo, Texas where she met the love of her life, Clyde G. “Buddy” Allison. They were soon married and they had four children; Foy, Clay, David, and Vicki.

Brenda Castle, 66, of Henrietta, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at 2pm, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta, Texas with Mr. B.D. Wynn, officiating. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery in Shannon, Texas under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Brenda was born on November 29, 1954 in Palo Pinto to Zoy and Frankie (Blanscett) Gunter. She married Mike Castle on July 3, 1976 in Jacksboro. She was retired from Pratt-Whitney in Wichita Falls.

Clara Mae Frank

1930-2020

Clara Mae Frank, 90, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020 in Jacksboro, Texas. She was born on Sept. 29, 1930 in Jacksboro to Raymond Alfred Frank and Mary Lorena (Middlebrooks) Frank. Clara Mae was a life-long member of the Jacksboro First United Methodist Church and was a jeweler at Bush Jewelry. Clara Mae was also a dedicated Girl Scout Leader for many years and was very proud of her “girls”. Although Clara Mae never had any children, she lovingly mothered many over the years.

Clara Mae was preceded in death by her parents.
