Brenda Castle, 66, of Henrietta, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at 2pm, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta, Texas with Mr. B.D. Wynn, officiating. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery in Shannon, Texas under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Brenda was born on November 29, 1954 in Palo Pinto to Zoy and Frankie (Blanscett) Gunter. She married Mike Castle on July 3, 1976 in Jacksboro. She was retired from Pratt-Whitney in Wichita Falls.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mouaton Gunter; granddaughter, Baileigh; grandson, Hayden Lynn.

Survivors include her husband Mike Castle of Shannon; two daughters, Angie Lynn and husband Brandon of Wichita Falls, and Michelle Castle of Gainesville; grand children, Hunter, Breanna, Jayson Castle and wife Kelli, and Katie Castle; great granddaughter, Brynlee Gail Castle; two brothers, Zoy Gunter, Jr. and wife Glenna of Pampa, and Loy Gunter and wife Marda of Benbrook, Texas; five sisters, Billie Jackson and husband Delton of Wichita Falls, Janice Smith and husband Roland of Wichita Falls, Betty Nix and husband James of Wichita Falls, Loretta Elenburg and husband Bryan of Runaway Bay, and Velta Ann Bird and husband Ray.

Memorials may be made to the Shannon Cemetery Association at 18057 Old Joy Shannon Road, Henrietta 76365.
