Raymond William Wright Jr., 73, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 in Jacksboro, Texas. He was born on Feb. 23, 1947 to Raymond and Louise Wright in Alexandria, Virginia.

Raymond proudly served our county in the United States Army and was a combat medic during the Vietnam War. He married Thelma Winters on April 2, 2004 in Maryland. Throughout his life Raymond was a communication specialist for the City of Alexandria and a member of the American Legion where he competed in the Honor Guard Competition. He will truly be missed by his loved ones.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived today by his wife, Thelma (Winters) Wright; children, Mark Wright, Christopher Wright, Cathy Especht, Jason Wright and Shae Clemons; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service has been postponed until further notice.
