Audie Erwin was born Aug. 14, 1934 in the small Texas community of Barton Chapel to Cecil and Lola (Nash) Jennings. She passed away Sunday, October 17 in Jacksboro at the age of 86.

Audie married the late R.B. Erwin Aug. 29, 1953 in Perrin. She was a faithful member of Bethel Assembly of God even though her health was failing she continued to attend services. Audie was an avid quilter and loved watching Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. Her grandchildren loved her homemade biscuits and gravy. She always made chocolate pies, Italian cream cake and her infamous Mexican salad. Each of these were loved by everyone, every time she made them.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Robert Erwin; grandson, Ryan Crow; sister, Opal Rogers and brothers, Wilburn and Jerry Jennings.

Those left behind to cherish memories include her daughter, Beverley Crow, grandchildren Kim, and Cory and wife Alex, great grandchildren Michael, Garrett, Arianah, Araya, Braylee, Serenity, great great grandchild, Colt; son Henry Erwin and wife Nancy; grandchildren Bryan and Cassia, Brandon and wife Sarah, Matthew and wife Alyssa; great grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Charlie, Carolynn, Ashlynn, Cooper, Savana, Arianna; daughter Glenda Erwin; grandchildren, Brent and wife Chelsey, Angel, Hope and husband Aaron; great grandchildren Payeton, Ryder, Jaeden, Trey, Ciara, Mila; and daughter Loretta Martinez; grandchildren, Christy and husband Gonzalo, Joseph and wife Hannah, and Mandy; great grandchildren, Blake, Evan, Mason, Daniel, Johanna, and Luke; and sisters, Mona Robinson, Ava Jennings, and Linda Churchman.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Bethel Assembly of God in Jacksboro. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Joplin.
