Staying calm and showing grace under pressure can reap many benefits. For the second time this season, Bryson’s boys basketballers did just that in overcoming a double digit deficit against Woodson by keeping their composure down the stretch.

Perrin-Whitt High School hosted powerlifters from Jacksboro High School, as well as three other schools, Friday, Jan. 26.

Top-ranked Graford got all they wanted from 5th-ranked Perrin and held on for a 39-38 victory Friday, Jan. 26.

Much like the girls, Perrin’s boys got out to a quick start cruised to a 83-26 victory Friday, Jan. 19 over Bryson.

Mired in a fourgame District 7-3A losing streak, Jacksboro’s boys basketball team was looking to get its first win in the loop with Henrietta in town Tuesday, Jan. 16.

After losing to Jacksboro in the first meeting, Henrietta’s girls basketball team opened the second round of District 7-3A play by gaining revenge Tuesday, Jan. 16 on the Tigerettes with a 47-40 overtime win.

Perrin’s girls got out to a quick start against visiting Bryson and coasted to a 49-15 win Friday, Jan. 19.
