A 17-0 second and third quarter run by visiting Iowa Park broke open a defensive battle and sent the Hawks to a 35-23 win over Jacksboro Friday night. Jacksboro slips to 7-20 overall and 1-8 in District 7-3A.

Behind four threes from sophomore Evan Ford and eight tallies from freshman Caleb Allen, Bryson got out to a 23-13 lead after one.

Jacksboro let a sixpoint halftime lead slip away to Iowa Park on Senior Night Friday, the Lady Hawks were then able to hold off the Tigerettes late in a 41-39 win at Jacksboro Middle School. The Tigerettes overcame a slow start offensively, an Erin Jonas bucket with 3:58 left in the quarter the first basket.
