Bryson’s boys golf team saw solid improvement on day two of the Region III-A Tournament at Mount Pleasant Golf Club. The boys finished 12th overall with a tworound total of 943 with four of the five golfers seeing their scores improve over the two days.

After runs to the Class A State Championships earlier this month, both Perrin and Bryson boys basketball teams landed several players on the All-District 17-A teams announced last week. Both teams dominated the superlative list, Perrin having the overall MVP in Jack McCormick, defensive player of the year Ryan Richerson, sixth man of the year Noah Morris and coach of the year Todd McCormick.

Several Perrin and Bryson track athletes will be moving on to the Region III-A Meet in Denton following their performances at the area meet in Bryson. BHS Cowboys Junior Ben Bennett won both the discus with a 114’9” throw and the shot put with a 43’3” throw.
