XC teams return home

More than 20 teams came out for the annual Jacksboro Cross Country Meet Saturday at Fort Richardson State Park.

The varsity boys finished 5th with 189 points. Javier Palomar was the Tigers’ top finisher in 11th. Hoyt Nebgen was 39th, Jose Palomar in 44th, Nero Salazar in 47th, Bryan Monsivais in 48th, David Massengale in 49th.

The varsity girls were 6th with 211 points in the first meet the squad has had a full team all year.
