VB evens district mark at 1-1

WICHITA FALLS – “Is it better to start or finish strong?”

The eternal question received another answer Tuesday night. Jacksboro’s varsity volleyballers, coming off a disappointing district opener in Henrietta Sept. 9, fell behind two-games-to-none against a much improved City View. The Tigerettes looked out of sorts early on in losing 22-25 and 10-25.

With the real possibility of being 0-2 in District 8-3A staring the Purple in the face, the young squad began to turn things around midway through the match with convincing wins in games three and four.
