Track team competes at PK Relays

GRAHAM – Jacksboro’s track teams competed in the Possum Kingdom Relays Saturday here.

Kade Weldon won the discus for the third time this year with a 152’8” throw, his personal best in the event. Teammate Riley Rollans was right behind in second with a 136’6”. Cody Gary was second in the Shot Put after a 44’7 1/2” effort, also a personal best.

David Massengale also had a personal best in the 800 meters, finishing 6th in 2:12.12. Weldon, Caleb Keith, Hunter Jackson and Hunter Hackley were sixth in the 400-meter relay. Jackson, Weldon, Keith and Victor Banuelos were 6th in the 800-meter relay. The 4x400 relay foursome of Banuelos, Massengale, Weldon, Hackley were seventh.

On the girls side, Kaylea Maples won the triple jump and was second in the long jump. Baylee Thompson was 6th in the shot with Leah Plaster 8th. No other results were given. Jacksboro went to Lindsay Thursday. Results were not available.
