Tigers close regular season
Wins come in all shapes and sizes. There’s only one way Jacksboro’s 24-21 win over City View Oct. 28 can be described:
Huge.
The come-from-behind victory, which saw the Tigers overcome a 14-0 deficit, evened Jacksboro’s District 5-3A Division II ledger at 2-2 (6-3 overall) and qualified the Purple for a postseason berth. Everything is not set in stone, however, as the Tigers will face Holliday (3-1, 6-3) tonight for a chance to become a No-3 seed with a win.
Jacksboro Coach Brian Hodnett said he was proud of the way his troops fought until the end against the Mustangs last Friday.
