Tigerettes fall to Boyd on the road

BOYD – After a five-set win at City View two weeks ago, Jacksboro’s varsity volleyball squad has fallen on hard times, losing four straight District 8-3A matches.

The latest came Tuesday evening to 7th-ranked Boyd, which remained perfect in district action with a 25-7, 25-9, 25-10 win. The Tigerettes drop to 1-5 in loop play with the Lady ‘Jackets going to 6-0.

Jacksboro took quick leads in games one and two on Carly Hart’s serves but the hostesses took control early in the games, breaking serves with thunderous kills and then going on long serving runs.
