Tiger 'D' leads to victory

Ask new Jacksboro defensive coordinator John Bennett if he saw his defense being as good as it has been in the first three games, including a 21-6 victory over Paradise Sept. 9, and he’ll tell you it’s been a work in progress for nearly a year.

“I wanted to build the defense around speed and good tackling,” Bennett said. “Running track workouts and agility training was a great tool to help us increase our speed in the offseason.”

The Tiger defense has allowed 26 points in three games so far.
