Kids attend, VB, BB camps

More than 50 students came out for Jacksboro basketball and volleyball camp Monday morning.

The camp, which ran through Wednesday, was split up into two sections. Campers were split up into two groups by age. 

One group honing their volleyball skills with Head JHS Volleyball Coach Rosana Barbosa and the other going into the back gym to show their hoop skills and see how to improve them with Head Girls Basketball Coach Todd Matlock and his staff. The camps switched mid morning with the older kids learning volleyball and the younger ones learning basketball.

During the volleyball camp, serving and bumping/receiving skills were taught in the early going while in the basketball camp, layup skills, passing and dribbling were part of the learning.
