JHS track sends athletes to regionals

Jacksboro will have five representatives attending this weekend’s Region I-3A Meet at Abilene Christian University by virtue of top four performances at area April 20 at the JHS track.

Seniors Kade Weldon and Riley Rollans finished 1-2 in the discus event. Cody Gary was fifth in the shotput in Javier Palomar finished 8th in the 3,200-meter run. 

On the girls side, senior Kaylea Maples was 3rd in both the long and triple jump. Leah Plaster was 3rd in the shotput with freshman Baylee Thompson winning the discus and second in the shotput.
