JHS Tournament play this weekend

Jacksboro’s varsity baseball and softball teams compete in tournaments this weekend.

The baseball team will host a 10-team tournament in conjunction with Peaster beginning Thursday. Jacksboro will face Chico at 11:15 a.m. Thursday and Vernon at 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

On Friday, the Tigers will face Archer City at 11:15 a.m. and Muenster at 1:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. game Saturday vs. SWC winding up the tournament.

The girls head to Henrietta for a tournament beginning Thursday as well. The Tigerettes face Vernon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the high school field and then Seymour at 4 p.m. at the city park. On Friday, the girls play Iowa Park at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. vs. Haskell, both games at the high school field.

On Saturday, Jacksboro faces Windthorst at 11:30 a.m. and Wichita Falls High at 2:30 p.m., both at the city park field.
