It will again be a busy weekend for Jacksboro baseball and softball players who will hit the road for tournaments beginning Thursday.

The boys play the first of two tournaments in Windthorst. The boys will play a total of five games over three days. Thursday’s games will be at 2 p.m. vs. Muenster and at 6:30 p.m. vs. Albany.

Jacksboro and Muenster played last Friday in the Jacksboro Tournament with the Hornets posting an 8-1 win.

Friday, the squad has games at 9:30 vs. Windthorst and at 4:15 p.m. vs. Chico. Saturday’s action moves to Henrietta where the Tigers will face Decatur in a 9:30 a.m. game.

The girls will take part in the Wichita Falls Tournament. Thursday’s games are at 9 a.m. vs. WF Rider and 12:30 p.m. vs. Vernon. The Tigerettes faced Vernon in last weekend’s Henrietta Tournament and will be looking to avenge a 13-4 loss.

Friday’s games are at 12:30 p.m. vs. Haskell and 5:45 vs. Old High. Jacksboro lost to Haskell 4-2 last weekend and will be facing Old High for the fourth time this year, having beaten the Coyotes 5-2 last weekend.

Saturday, the girls face Iowa Park, which it beat 8-5 in Henrietta’s Tournament.
