Jacksboro hosting camps

Girls wishing to learn the finer points of basketball and volleyball can attend a combined camp June 6-8 at Jacksboro High School.

The camps will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with half the day for volleyball and half the day for basketball. One camp is $40 with both being $70. For incoming 8th and 9th graders basketball will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon and volleyball from 1 to 4:30 p.m. For incoming grades 5-7, volleyball will go from 8:30 a.m. to noon and basketball from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Checks for the camps are payable to Rosana Barbosa and either mailed to 750 W. Belknap or turned into the JHS office by June 1. 

Onsite registration is available June 6 at 7:30 a.m. for an additional fee. T-shirts are an additional $10 if registered by June 1.

A baseball camp is also scheduled May 31-June 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the JHS baseball field.
