Jacksboro, Bryson hold final FB scrimmages
Jacksboro and Bryson had their final football scrimmages last week n preparation for this weekend’s season opener. Perrin cancelled its scrimmage because of a death in the Pirate football family.
The Tigers traveled to Santo to face the Wildcats. Coach Brian Hodnett said he saw improvement overall from the team as a whole.
“I thought we looked much better against Santo,” Hodnett stated. “Other than one busted assignment, the defense looked awesome.”
Jacksboro was able to move the ball more effectively than last week as the new offense begins to take shape in preparation for the season opener Friday.
