Girls wrangle City View

Thu, 01/26/2017 - 1:19 pm

WICHITA FALLS –  Quick and to the point would be the best way to describe Jacksboros girls’ run through City View  Saturday afternoon.

The Tigerettes opened a three-game roadtrip here by jumping all over the Lady Mustangs early and often, scoring three buckets in a matter of two minutes. Baskets minutes later would provide the visitors all the offense it would need in a 53-8 win. Jacksboro remained all alone in second place in District 8-3A at 8-1 with the win and 23-5 overall while the hostesses fell to 0-9 and 3-23.

Jacksboro did not let the delay in playing the game bother them. Baskets by Trinity Tisdale,  Jaymee Yount and Baylee Thompson in the opening moments nearly gave the Purple all the offense it would need.
