Girls rout Holliday

Jacksboro led from start to finish, held Holliday to just 11 percent shooting and appeared ready for a visit from the Lady Rabbits with a 74-20 victory Tuesday. Baskets from Baylee Thompson and Trinity Tisdale put the hostesses up four in the first 50 seconds. Tisdale got some help from Haley Laake as the lead went into double figures within four minutes.

Sophomore Brinkley Richardson added a pair of buckets late to move the lead to 25-5 after one.

The Purple did go cold for a spell in the second, missing six in a row at one point. Holliday was unable to take advantage, missing all seven second-quarter shots from the field.

Tisdale had six second-quarter points and got plenty of help to extend the lead to 41-8 at the break.
