Bryson tracksters compete at district

BRYSON – Both Bryson track teams competed solidly at the district track meet they hosted April 13.

The boys won their portion with 166 points and qualified several members for the area meet held Wednesday in Graford (no results available as of press time). Ethan Robinson was second in the 400 meters with a 55.06 time and third in the 100 meters with a 12.08 time. 

Harley Hammond was sixth in the 1,600-meters with a 6:32.78 time as was Paxton Whitaker in the 400-meters with a 1:01.18 clocking. Paul Davidson, Tanner Buchanan and Hammond were 1-3-4 in the 110 hurdles with times of 17.94, 19.05 and 21.78, respectively. 

Jon Bagwell and Josh Jonas were third and fifth, respectively,  in the 800-meter run with times of 2:19.59 and 2:30.31, respectively.

Davidson, Tristan Stephens and Hammond finished 2-3-5 in the 300-meter hurdles with times of 48.02, 51.34 and 54 seconds flat.
