Bryson girls sweep Graford

GRAFORD – Bryson’s softball team remains in first place in district as the squad swept past the host Lady Rabbits here Monday.

In the opener, the Cowgirls (3-0 in district and 8-5 overall) posted a 23-1, five-inning win, pounding out 17 hits in the process. Kyla Jones allowed five hits and struck out eight in the victory.

The Cowgirls scored four runs in each of the first two innings.The squad added four runs in the fourth followed by an 11-run closing. Bryson was led offensively by Breanna Denton and Nikki Goodman who each had three hits. Denton added a pair of walks and had three RBIs. Hannah Robinson added two hits.
