Bryson corrals Woodson
BRYSON – Benches speak louder than anyone ever considered.
Woodson came to town Friday as a heavy underdog to the unbeaten Cowboys. Bryson, thinking they had the Homecoming game in the bag, came out very flat and the visiting Cowboys took advantage to tie the hosts at 16 after one quarter.
Assistant Coach Hunter Hayes showed his displeasure with his defense, benching starters and telling the players that the bench speaks much louder than himself. The bench made its point known as Bryson would not surrender another point while beginning to click on all cylinders itself in a 61-16 win over Woodson Friday night.
