Bryson boys lose to Era

BRYSON – The Cowboys took a 17-point lead at half vs. visiting Era Tuesday evening but the Hornets used a big third quarter to get in the game and took control in the fourth quarter of a 49-41 win over the hosts.

Bryson jumped out to a 9-4 lead after one and exploded for 18 second quarter points. Era continued to have problems offensively, scoring six points to fnd itself down 27-10 at the half.

Era nearly tripled its offensive production of the first half, scoring 24 points in the third while holding the ‘Pokes to just 10. Bryson still held a slim 37-34 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Bryson went ice cold in the fourth, scoring just four points in the frame, which enabled Era to pull ahead and grab the win.
