JHS girls 5th at regionals

BAIRD – Jacksboro’s girls' golf team finished 5th at the Region I-3A Tournament at Shady Oaks Golf Course here. Wednesday and Thursday.

The squad finished with a two-round total of 745. Jacksboro was tied for the third and final spot to qualify for State after the first round.

Jordan Nichols finished with a combined 176 (85-91). Hallie Hackley was 10 strokes behind with a 186 (95-91) followed by Carli Smith’s 191 (98-93) and Rylee Staley with a 192 (92-100). Hailey Milam finished with a 222 (109-113).
