BHS track hosts relays

BRYSON – Bryson’s boys and girls track teams had top-three finishes at the Cowboy Relays March 9.

The boys finished first with 158 points. Leading the way with a pair of firsts was T.J. Imotichey in both the shot put (36’9”) and discus (119’9”). Ethan Robinson also took top honors in the pole vault with an 8’6” effort and was a member of the victorious 1,600-meter relay squad with Drake Huffman, Landon Stephens and Jon Bagwell with a 3:59.12.

Second-place finishes included Brayden Houser in the discus with a 109’11” throw. Other runner-up places were from Ethan Smith in the pole vault (7’6”), and 3,200-meters (15:01.18).

Finishing third in events for the Cowboys were Robinson in the 100-meters with a 12.31 time. Other third-place finishes were Bagwell in the 400-meters (57.84), Xander Tinney in the 110-meter hurdles (22.34), the 400-meter relay quartet of Huffman, Stephens, Bagwell, and Robinson in 48.28, Dillon Orr in the high jump (5’2”) and Smith in the 1,600-meters (6:29.6).
