Bryson track wins home meet

BRYSON – In hosting their first track meet of the year, Bryson’s boys and girls both won their portions of their meet Monday.

The boys finished with 196 points. In the 100-meter run, Ethan Robinson, Dillon Orr and Jaden Nickel were 2-4-6, respectively, with times of 11.98, 12.19 and 12.44 seconds. Nickel won the 200-meters with a time of 24.41. T.J. Imotichey and Tyce Reeves were 4-5 in the event with times of 26.81 and 27.68.

John Bagwell was third in the 400-meters with a 59.59 time. Landon Stephens and Bagwell were 3-4 in the 800-meters with times of 2:25.44 and 2:55.81.

Ethan Smith won the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:34.65. Jayden Smith was sixth in 6:48.03. Jayden Smith won the 3,200-meter run in 15:29, just three seconds faster than Ethan Smith in second.

Robinson, Stephens, and Nickel were 2-3-4 in the 300-meter hurdles with times of 47.46, 58.46 and 1:02.72, respectively. The 800-meter relay quartet of Orr, Harley Hammond, Tristan Stephens and Drake Huffman won the event with a 1:44.40 time. The same foursome was fourth in the 400-meter relay with a time of 48.24.

Robinson, Bagwell, Landon Stephens and Huffman were second in the 1,600-meters with a 4:04.72 time.
