Tuesday, Dec. 5

9:31 a.m. --— Caller in the 100 block of 5th Street reported her baby’s daddy’s brother was causing problems wanting money.

9:57 a.m. — Cows reported out on the road towards Jermyn on FM 1191.

9:50 a.m. — Goats reported on the road at Hwy 199 in Joplin.

11:20 a.m. — Caller reported the neighbor’s dog attacked her dog in the 500 block of Southwind Road. Caller was advised the county does not offer animal control services and she has the right to protect herself and her property.

11:56 a.m. — A man from Squaw Mountain called wanting to speak to an officer about pressing charges on his son for theft by credit card.

4:32 p.m. — Caller reported a cow out by the liquor store on South Main. 

5:56 p.m. — Car hit a deer on Highway 199 near the Vineyard cutoff. Driver tried to call both wreckers but got no answer.

6:03 p.m. — Two people reported hitchhiking in the parking lot and bothering customers in the 300 block of North Main Street.

6:57 p.m. — EMS dispatched to the 200 block of East Jasper Street for a 79-year-old woman who fell and was complaining of hip pain.

9:42 p.m. — Caller in the 7000 block of Highway 199 reported radio waves hitting him.

10:09 p.m. — Truck driver reported person walking on Highway 199 about 1 mile west of Shawver Road. Driver thought it was unusual considering the location and weather.

11:27 p.m. — Caller reported a customer keeps calling and harassing the clerk because he didn’t get any taco sauce with his purchase in the 300 block of North Main.

Wednesday, Dec. 6

3:17 a.m. — Caller reported a dead deer in the roadway on Highway 380 just west of Bryson baseball fields in the middle of the westbound lane.

8:32 a.m. — Herd of black goats reported at a bridge on Highway 281 North before Highway 114 intersection.

9:44 a.m. — An alarm was activated at Fort Richardson. Everything was alright.

10:34 a.m. — Caller advised a deer was hurt in a bar ditch on Highway 199 a half-mile east of Joplin. The game warden was notified.

11:36 a.m. — Welfare check requested in the 300 block of North Church Street.

12:12 p.m. — Caller requested an officer to go with her to deliver a vet bill to the neighbor in the 500 block of Southwind.

2:50 p.m. —Report of a possible intoxicated driver in the 200 block of South Main Street.

3:00 p.m. -— Grass fire reported at Highway 380 West and Mountain Home Road.

5:27 p.m. — A suspicious person was reported in the 400 block of North Main.

6:33 p.m. — A reckless driver was reported in the 800 block of North Main.

9:02 p.m. — The caller reported a suspected prowler in the backyard in the 200 block of West College.

9:43 p.m. — Caller reported the earlier grass fire on Highway 380 West may have rekindled.

10:13 p.m. — Caller reported radio waves hitting him in the 7000 block of Highway 199.

Thursday, Dec. 7

3:10 a.m. — Faith Community EMS reported a transfer to Wise Health.

5:43 a.m. — Caller reported radio waves hitting in the 7000 block of Highway 199.

6:10 a.m. — Narcotic investigation of manufacturing/delivery at the law enforcement center.

7:27 a.m. — Caller wanted the fire department aware of flames and hot spots from the fire on Highway 380 W the day before.

11:41 a.m. — Caller reported an aggressive pit bull running down West College Street towards North Main.

12:48 p.m. — Caller requested EMS for a 66-year-old female who fell in the 200 block of East Jasper.

1:17 p.m. — Caller reported piles of brush burning unmonitored on Highway 380 W.

1:19 p.m. — A caregiver stepped outside and got locked out of the house in the 1200 block of West Belknap.

3:06 p.m. — Ambulance transfer from Faith Community to United Regional.

6:05 p.m. — Driver hit a deer at the base of Wizard Hill on Highway 380.

6:50 p.m. — Car wreck reported at Highway 199 at FM 2210.

7:44 a.m. — Two-vehicle accident near the drive-in on Highway 380 with no injuries.

7:55 a.m. — Caller reported 76-year-old female fell the night before in the 200 block of Lacewell.

8:21 a.m. — Caller reported a break-in in the 400 block of N. Boland St., Bryson.

9:53 a.m. — Caller reported radio waves hitting him in the 7000 block of Highway 199.

5:19 p.m. — Book in for manufacturing/delivery of methamphetamine arrest at the LEC.

5:28 p.m. — Book in for unlawful possession of metal and/or body armor by a felon at the LEC.
