Flintknapping seminar Aug. 27

A look back at history is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27 at Fort Richardson State Park.

Fl i n tknapping, which creates stone tools such as arrow points, knives and awls will be demonstrated by flintknapping artists Carl Silver and Phillip Liebel at the Interpreters Center from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event is free for everyone and is for all ages. Park officials remind visitors to stop and pay the entry fee.
