First day enrollment reported
Bryson ISD Principal Eric Wilson reported first-day enrollment at his school Wednesday included 254 students.
That is down slightly from last year’s first day which saw 267 students.
Jacksboro ISD Superintendent Dwain Milam reported an increase in the number of first-day students in Jacksboro.
There were 1,019 students for the first day of school in JISD, up from last year’s first-day enrollment of 987.
Milam said there are more students expected to enroll by Monday.
Perrin-Whitt CISD will start the new school year Monday.
