FCH officials claim nothing will change after bankruptcy filing

Despite filing for bankruptcy recently, Faith Community Hospital officials are adamant in claiming nothing will change.

FCH CEO Frank Beaman and Board Attorney David Spiller said the hospital had no other way to keep the insurance companies, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and United Healthcare; from stonewalling payments to the hospital, which they said has been going on for more than three years, than to file for Chapter 9 bankruptcy.
