Commissioners work brief agenda
In an agenda that took barely 30 minutes to work June 8, Jack County commissioners approved a resolution to aid in voting in today’s society.
The Help America Vote Act of 2020, is part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act and makes it easier for everyone to vote. County Elections Administrator Lynn Casteel said it is set up by the State and funding, which 20 percent must come from the entity itself, can be used for anything voting related, including cleaning supplies and potential salaries of extra people possibly needed to work elections now.
