City, JISD candidates to meet in candidate forum

Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce officials will be hosting candidate forum for city and JISD candidates during a Forum April 22.

The event will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Prosperity Bank Meeting Room. Moderator Judge Keith Umphress will ask questions after which candidates will respond. Citizens can give questions they’d like to have answered during the final 10 minutes of the forum.

Early voting has begun for the May 1 election and will run through April 27 at the Courthouse Assembly Room. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 21-23 and 26. Hours on April 27 will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voting hours on election day will be from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m. at the Courthouse.
