City of Jacksboro receives financial report

Michael Edgin, with Edgin, Parkman, Fleming and Fleming; presented the 2018-2019 financial report to the Jacksboro City Council during its meeting Monday, April 13, on a Zoom video conference.

Edgin said the city received the Government Finance Officer Association’s certificate of achievement in excellence in financial reporting, which is the highest level the organization issues in financial reporting.

“Our opinion is that the financial statements presented in this report are presented fairly in all material respects as of the year end on Sept. 30, 2019,” Edgin said. “That’s an unmodified or clean report on your financial statements.”
