City of Jacksboro cancels their May Uniform Election

With no city council seats being contested during the May election, the council voted to cancel the called election during their meeting Monday, Feb. 24.

Place 5 councilmen Craig Fenter and Place 3 member Greg Robinson each filed for another term on the council unopposed. While, Place 1 councilman Cade Cornish chose not to run and Libby Gonzales filed for his position unopposed.
