Wizard Wells author to host book signing

Author Shelly Morrow Harris announces the nationwide release of her new book, “Reflections: A Journey to the True Me,” where she inspires her readers to explore their emotions and to reflect on their journey to their true selves.

In “Reflections: A Journey to the True Me,” Harris details her own path of life to become the person she is today. Through her collection of poetry and short stories, she allows her readers to look into her eyes and to feel her heart through her poetry.

Harris shares her very intimate and personal feelings as to why she wrote the poems. Laughter is entwined throughout as she tells funny intriguing stories of growing up in the country. She hopes that her readers can find courage and resolve in their own journey through life and succeed to find their true self.

At a very young age, Harris began writing poetry as an outlet for her emotions. It wasn’t until a high school teacher discovered her talent did she begin to share her writings with others. Harris grew up a country girl in the small community of Wizard Wells. She shares her love of the outdoors with her two college-aged children.

The Gladys Johnson Ritchie Library will host a book signing with Harris from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.
