New sign at Crisis Center

A new sign was recently installed at the Jacksboro location for the Wise Hope Crisis Center located at 200 North Church Street.

Jim Whitsitt, with The Sign Company, along with board member Roxanna Maddox, designed and made the sign and the Jacksboro Fire Department assisted with the installation.

The Wise Hope Crisis Center assists sexual assault and domestic violence victims and secondary victims in finding and utilizing resources available to them to manage their lives.

The Wise County Domestic Violence Task Force (WCDVTF)operates a safe shelter for, as well as providing counseling to, domestic violence victims. In addition to providing a safe shelter and counseling, it also offers a 24-hour hotline, advocacy, legal accompaniment, and referral. It serves victims in Jack, Wise and Montague counties.
