Wed, 08/26/2020 - 5:00 am

The Jack County Eats & Treats Farmer’s Market hosted by the Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce is an opportunity for local entrepreneurs and produce growers to come together and sell their fresh and homemade goods.

Located on the Downtown Courthouse Lawn in Jacksboro, the Farmer’s Market takes place on the 4th Saturday of each month through the month of October.

At the last Market held on August 22, there was a total of 11 vendors offering a variety of products from bell peppers, pears and other locally grown produce, to homemade jewelry, car freshies, artwork, soaps and candles and even Jacksboro Tiger Gear.

“The purpose of the Eats and Treats Farmers Market is for local vendors selling produce or homemade merchandise to come together and sell their fresh fruits, vegetables, jams, honey, bread, etc. and any special crafts they may also make to sell. This is a great opportunity for businesses on the Square as well because of the increased foot traffic”, stated Chamber Executive Director Valerie Monk.

The next Eats & Treats Farmer’s Market will take take place on September 26th from 8am – 2pm. For inquires on purchasing a spot for the upcoming markets, please contact the Chamber at 940-567 the Chamber at 940-567-2602, or email at valeriemonk@jacksborochamber.com
