Adult English, GED classes starting soon

Region 9 Education Service Center will soon begin offering its fall classes for adult students seeking to earn their high school equivilency diploma (GED) or to non-native English speakers looking to improve their English language skills.

Those interested in taking either the GED or ESL classes are required to attend both complete three-hour sessions of orientation and bring a photo ID.

GED class orientation will be Tuesday and Thursday, Aug. 6 and 8 from 6-9 p.m. at Jacksboro High School.

English as a Second Language class orientation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Aug. 5 and 7 also at JHS. The high school is located at 1400 N. Main St. and students for adult classes will use the main entrance.
