The Lone Star FFA Degree recognizes FFA members who have received the Chapter degree, been active FFA members for at least two years, completed at least four semesters of agricultural science at or above the ninth grade level, maintained a supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program, demonstrated their leadership skills, and have shown a commitment to the FFA through involvement at the chapter level and above. In addition to these four, Perrin had a total of nine members spend the week in Dallas. They heard from numerous guest speakers, attended leadership workshops and in the wake of the tragic events in Dallas the prior week they, with the help of entire Texas FFA, raised over $13,000 for the families of the fallen officers. These nine Perrin FFA Officers are looking forward to serving our community and the state in their leadership roles over the next year.
